"When I use a word", Humpty Dumpty said in a rather scornful tone, "it means just what I choose it to mean - neither more nor less".
--> Lewis Carroll
I
Following Carroll I choose the "Mathematicians Epigrams" to mean:
1. Inscriptions/devices on mathematicians houses/schools/tombstones (: epitaphs or epitymbia) etc.
2. Short epigrammatical phrases (verses etc.) for mathematicians lives/works etc.
Note : This is a selection: I select what I like.
II
The collection of Epitymbia published first in the Greek newspaper:
Caniwtika Nea (= Chania {of Crete} News)
